Tess, a Laguna Beach native, will begin her sophomore year this upcoming fall.  For over a decade, Tess has maintained strict focus on her three priorities:  school, surf, and piano.  She is recognized as a straight-A student, a state-ranked surfer, and has received distinguished markings from the Associated Board of the The Royal School of Music (ABRSM). Within three years, Tess has completed level 4 of the Music Theory Exam, and level 3 of the Practical Exam.

Tess adores working with children of all ages, and specializes in finding exciting, new ways to teach the fundamentals of music theory and basic piano skills.  Though classically trained, Tess’ musical passion includes songs of all genres, especially pop, jazz, and new age.  Her musical muse is Ludovico Einaudi and her most recent music compositions resemble his “neo-classical” style.
