I’m Sarah, 28 years old, born and raised in the South of France.

I come from a family of musicians, my father plays guitar, and my brother plays the drums! I started learning how to play Flute when I was 7 years old, in a classical music school in the South of France until I was 20 years old.

Then I went to the University of Musicology to learn more about the history and theory of music, as well as how to teach music, and I got my master’s degree. Meanwhile, I taught how to play Flute to 2 children (6 years old and 8 years old) once a week at their house. I also started to sing and play Flute in a Jazz band in the South of France with my dad as the guitar player!

After University, I went to a private Jazz school in the South of France for one year to get specialized in jazz vocal and I became more passionate about jazz music, history, and theory. In 2018-2019 I went to an international English school in Santa Barbara, California which helped me become fluent in English. That’s where I met my husband who I moved with today in Orange County! I created my own Jazz band as the lead vocalist and I am very happy to teach Flute which is my main instrument.
