Edyn Cepielik is a Guitarist and singer/ songwriter from Pasadena, California. He currently attends USD where he is a member of the school’s Jazz Ensemble, Gospel Choir, and Mariachi Ensemble. Edyn started playing music at a young age, influenced by his mother who produced music throughout the early 2000’s. Starting off as a pianist, he took much of the theory he learned, and applied it to guitar, giving him a good foundation. Edyn has performed with his mother’s classic country rock band, Korpus Kristy and the Skinwalkers, performing at venues such as The House of Blues, and even on live Television. When he gets free time, Edyn loves to of course play guitar, but also skate, surf, and read. Aside from teaching music, Edyn has also worked at a summer camp for the last three summers and loves interacting and helping kids of all ages. As far as his favorite artists go, Edyn loves The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Mac Demarco and Waylon Jennings. He plays both electric and acoustic guitar and loves incorporating many different styles into his playing whether it be classic rock, country, or R&B and Jazz.
