Christopher Colocho is currently an undergraduate bass trombone student at California State University, Long Beach. He is pursuing a degree in bass trombone performance in addition to a degree in music education. He has performed with the International Trombone Festival California Collegiate Honors Trombone Choir; the California State University, Fullerton Community College Honor Band and has performed in the Tournament of Roses Honor Band. He has received honors and honorable mentions from his previous school Fullerton College from which he graduated in 2016 with an Associates of Music. His current teacher is Steve Trapani and has also studied under the instruction of Robert Soto.
