Anna Baermann
Anna Baermann is a senior at Chapman University majoring in music performance with a minor in anthropology. Her musical career began in 2005 at the Wheaton College Community School of the Arts, where she studied the Suzuki method.
As the principle violist for both the East Grand Rapids High School Orchestra and the Grand Rapids Youth Symphony, Anna competed and won awards in various concerto competitions and performed with her quartet for private events. After competing in state competitions, she was invited to participate in the Michigan All State Orchestra. She graduated with honors and as an International Baccalaureate Diploma recipient.
After being awarded both music and academic scholarships at Chapman, she moved to California to begin her collegiate studies under Robert Becker.
She continues to perform with the Chapman Orchestra, and plays with multiple ensemble groups for private events.
