Megan Pollon is a multifaceted violinist. While classically trained and focused, she has performed in a wide variety of settings including symphony orchestras, studio orchestras, chamber ensembles, and church worship bands. Megan has been a member of the San Luis Obispo Symphony, the Bob Cole Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, and the 2019 Roundtop Festival Institute Orchestra. She has also performed with the American Youth Symphony and the 2020 Warner Bros. Conducting Workshop studio orchestra.
In addition to performing, Megan is passionate about teaching and music education. She has maintained a private violin and piano studio since 2014. Additionally, she has taught group violin and piano classes through Applied Music Studio, coached in the San Luis Obispo Youth Symphony, and interned and coached at Central Coast Music Academy. Megan is a native of San Luis Obispo and is currently studying violin performance at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University, Long Beach. In addition to music, Megan enjoys hiking, cooking, baking, and spending time with friends and family.
