Iliana graduated with honors from Cornell University and is a violin and piano teacher at Elite Musique. She began playing violin when she was 4 years old and took private instruction with the Suzuki method for 10 years and was part of an orchestra for 4 years. As a soloist and with this orchestra, Iliana performed in various concert halls including Segerstrom Center and Carnegie Hall. She enjoys learning new instruments, so she has also learned piano, ukelele, and even the traditional Chinese instrument called guqin. Iliana loves teaching and has ample experience teaching kids of all ages in music and other subjects. She has been praised for her patience, enthusiasm, and modifying her teaching style to fit the needs of each child.
