Eric Rinehart

Music has been a lifelong pursuit in Eric’s life. He was born and raised in the Napa Valley to a 5th generation piano family. His mother began teaching him piano lessons at the age of 8, and was raised in a life of music. Throughout grade school, Eric pursued a variety of musical opportunities such as playing lead alto saxophone in the the high school jazz ensemble and playing euphonium for the 18-time world champion Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps.

With roundabout fashion after receiving a double major bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry from UCSB with honors, Eric pivoted to a full-time study of piano to pursue his passion. He has studied with acclaimed pianists, Josh Wright Ph. D from the University of Utah, and YouTube sensation, Kyle Landry. Eric has a deep passion for classical music, with Chopin and Debussy being his absolute favorite composers to play.

Eric has had may opportunities to perform solo recitals, entertain at cocktail and holiday parties, record albums, and inspire the youth with the joy of music making. He is truly grateful to be able to make a living with his passion!

Since moving to the Orange County Area, Eric regularly continues his own education as a performer and educator studying under multi-piano-competition winner Samuel Grodin. Eric is committed to a high standard of excellence in music, and continues to constantly evolve as a pianist and educator.
