

Emmanuel Mora
Emmanuel Mora is an active student, educator, and performing percussionist/guitarist based in Orange County. He currently attends the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music in Long Beach, where he has studied Orchestral Percussion under Ted Atkatz (former Principal Percussionist/Assistant Timpanist for the Chicago Symphony) and Drumset under Randy Drake (studio drummer for television shows such as Beverly Hills, 90210 and touring musician).
As an educator, Emmanuel has instructed guitar privately and percussion at various high schools in the area, most notably at Richard Gahr High School: 4-time consecutive gold medalists at California State Band Championships. He has received recognition from the ABC Unified School District and the 32nd District of the California Senate for his continued support of this program. Most recently, he has helped lead them to their first ever finalist placement in the Southern California Percussion Alliance competitive arena. In his private percussion instruction, he has had success with students, allowing them to gain acceptance into highly competitive audition based youth ensembles.
As a performer, Emmanuel has been involved with the Pulse Percussion Organization, Gold Medalist for the 2016 WGI Percussion Independent World Championships. He has participated in 4 years of Marching Music’s Major League, DCI, ending his career with the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps. As a guitarist, he has spent 4 years performing jazz guitar, along with his own personal projects and performances including classical, pop, rock and percussive fingerstyle acoustic playing.
