Coryn Richardson
Coryn Richardson is currently studying at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at CSU Long Beach to receive Bachelor of Music degrees in Vocal Performance and Choral Music Education, as well as a single-subject teaching credential. She is about to begin her 9th year as a choral singer, and her 7th year of private voice training. Before college, she served as the Student Director and President of the vocal music program at her high school. She has performed throughout the West Coast, at Carnegie Hall in New York City, and in Eastern Europe. Coryn currently works at Arrowbear Music Camp and as a church musician in Long Beach. She is a member of the Southern California Vocal Association and the American Choral Directors Association.
Coryn specializes in classical technique, with experience incorporating its elements into jazz and musical theater styles. She has a passion for healthy singing, unity found in the choral setting, and the exploration of the endless possibilities of musical expression. Her goal is to encourage excellence in young musicians, especially in ways that serve the greater community.
Coryn lives in Long Beach, and aside from music, she enjoys hiking, cooking, volunteering, photography, and reading/writing.
